About Mathemusic

Mathemusic is a band that formed in November 22 2008 as one of the member of Music Appreciation Unit in ITB (Apres! ITB). The band was firstly pioneered by Briantono Muhammad Raharjo/Bejo (Drum) and recruited the other members such as Ridzki Januar Akbar/Jeje (vocal), Ahmad Kurnia Paramasatya/Rama (Guitar), Dypta Rizky Rahadian/Dypta (Guitar), and Luqman Hertanto Herman/Luqman (Bass). The first song they made was "Must Go On" with strain of funk in the bass' play, and a bit of blues melody and metal rock. That makes them categorized in Funk-Rock Alternative genre. In 2009, Mathemusic was in hiatus after Brian chose to focus in his study in ITB, and Jeje continued his study in Canada. In September 2009, Junno Tantra P.W./Junno (Drum) and Ronnie Pahala Tampetua/Ronnie (Vocal) were recruited. The band returned to their musical track and made two new songs, entitled "Bring H*r Back To Me" and "Sunshine" . After participating in some gigs, Mathemusic performed in Ganesha Music Event 2010: "Gelora Apresiasi" and again made two new songs, "For The Last Time" and "Amnesia". Later of that time, the band was eagerly searching the other gigs held by ITB, but Junno had to leave the band due to academical reason. In February 12, 2011, Muhammad Ramadhan Audirizki/Audi (Drum) played with Mathemusic with acoustical format in Biofront. Audi officialy became the band's drummer when they managed to win the audition of Ganesha Music Event 2011: "Semesta Apresiasi". There, they made their 6th song, "Enjoy Your Life". Mathemusic will relentlessly make their ear-freshening songs for everyone and fly with their music! \m/
