About Matador Red
Matador Red is the project of Price August, a multi-instrumentalist from Dallas, Texas. He started the band Suggestive Themes in 2009, and after practicing for two years and only playing one gig, disbanded in late 2011. Since then Matador Red has been putting its own spin on alternative and punk and making demos with Price August playing all instruments and singing. Throughout the summer of 2012, Matador Red released new material, the first of this being the song "If You Want To," the promotional single for the EP "RGB", which was released August 23, 2012. Throughout the fall, Price recruited drummer JoGi, bassist Jonas, and lead guitarist Anurag. The single "Nothing to Give" was released April 7, 2013, the first song with a full lineup. Matador Red is also an indie / alternative rock band who are as far as anyone knows, inactive. They released their self titled EP in 2003.
