About Martin Evans

Martin Evans is a pianist, composer, and session musician based in London, UK. With a classical training at The Royal College of Music and influenced by fusion of classical and contemporary pop styles, Martin started early in his career as a session player for several European pop/rock bands and solo musicians. He also writes emotive piano solo compositions, as well as some electronic mood pieces. One of the more popular of these is "Nocturne" which has had over 50,000 streams. More recently, "Entwined" was selected to feature on Nils Frahm’s Official "Piano Day 2020 Playlist" on SoundCloud, following on from last year’s "Inner Voices" (Official Piano Day 2019 Playlist). Both tracks continue to garner daily attention. His latest solo piece, "Conversation" is another one that demonstrates Martin's virtuosity in composing and has been subsequently featured in the Official "Piano Day 2022 Playlist"
