Marinês (born Inês Caetano de Oliveira; 15 November 1934 – 14 May 2007) was a Brazilian singer, actress, television host, and law graduate. She became one of the most influential voices of Northeastern Brazilian music and is widely regarded as a pioneering figure of the forró genre.
