About Ma'iv
Ma'iv is the moniker of an elusive Bristol-based sound artist. He creates music using sounds ripped from old vinyls, which are then heavily processed and arranged into noisy structures that defy easy categorisation. His first EP "Anendingoragen" was produced in early 2011 and featured twisted vocal samples, extended, shifting drones and a palpable sense of dread. Often operating on the threshold of pain, the record is a journey through vast ambient soundscapes, embracing noise as much as melody.
