City: Copenhagen Style: Minimal techno/house, electro, electronica MHM ONE aka Morten Halborg-Moeller is the man behind one of the most successful underground clubs on the Copenhagen scene for the past 3-4 years: "Kill Your Telly" The versatile character of the club, in terms of sound, deco and locations, reflects in many ways Morten's efforts and background as an artist, promoter and essentially a DJ. MHM One began his creative career in the Hip-Hop and graffiti scene in the early 90´s and started spinning records in the late 90's. Like many other B-boys his first love was the funk-based american electro, which eventually led into the house and techno driven club scene. MHM One: "I'm a DJ, but first and foremost am I a music lover. My record collection is quite diverse, from minimal techno and house over dark electro to dusty dub, and even post-rock. The essence of DJ'ing is for me to be able to feel the music I play and listen to. That´s the most important thing at all times - To really feel it!! I get booked for chilled sets just as often as club sets, where people expect the deep bass and minimal sound, and I like both. With the Concept of Kill Your Telly, MHM One organizes events and touring clubnights on the best clubs and locations. The parties can in principle show up anywhere, just as long as the frames alows him to bring the Kill Your Telly spirit to life. Events that bring together a wide range of electronic music and visual art. Since Kill Your Telly was launched in 2003 MHM One has presented international names such as: Miss Kittin (De), Dj Maxximus (De), Agoria (Fr), Cutlass Supreme (Uk), Pan-Tone (Can), Paul St. Hilaire & Scion (de), Erobique (De), Mad Professor (Uk), I-F (Nl), DMX Krew (Uk), Gebrüder Tanzmann (De), Llopis (Se), Ceephax Acid Crew (Uk), Expander (Po), Marcus Stork (Se), Justus Könhcke (De), Trentemoeller (Dk), Rob Acid (De) + the cream of the danish scene. MHM One have been playing in almost all places worth mentioning in Copenhagen + Nordberg Festival/Sweden, Inkonst/Malmø, Kaffibarrin/Reyjkavik, Pffefferberg, Rio Club, Erdbeer Bar and Club 103 in Berlin. He is pt resident @ Culture-Box and VEGA were he is is also throwing parties
