About Lo Galluccio
Space-age ethereal rhymeschemes blend jazz and spoken-word. Lo Galluccio is a Harvard graduate who lives between New York and Boston, having spent 8 years on the Lower East Side. She's the former partner/girlfriend of slide guitarist Dave Tronzo (with whom she had a band named Fish Pistol) and has worked with Roy Nathanson and Brad Jones of the Jazz Passengers. She's also sat in with bands like Sex Mob and Jim Pugliese's Soultronix. A former actress, who attended the Goodman School of Drama, and current poet/writer, she's put out a chap called, "Hot Rain" (on Singing Bone Press) and will release her first book, "Sarasota VII' -- a prose-poem memoir on Cervena Barva Press in the fall of 2008. http://logalluccio.atspace.com/http://logalluccio.blogspot.com
