There are at least two artists named Liquid People. 1. Conan Manchester(Colchester) and Dan Smith(Cambridge) have been producing, remixing and DJing together, based in H.O.T.H. studios, Colchester, Essex. They are influenced by everything from jazz to disco to hip-hop. Conan performs beat juggling, scratching and sampling while Dan cuts and mixes. Liquid Peoples DJ style is a blend of New York Style House tinged with a slightly more driving and deeper sound. They have a discography on labels including MN2S, Yellow(Africanism) Productions, Catch 22, ITH, Shack Music and Defected and have remixed Talking Heads, Lucy Pearl, Lighthouse Family, All Saints, Kydd & Kango, Basement Boys, Talk Talk, Ashanti, Blondie, Telepopmuzik, Agent Sumo, Zoom, Mint Royale, Blaze and Greg Cerrone to name a few. Liquid People are a regular fixture on the DJ circuit, where they have performed to crowds from Europe to Asia. 2. liquid people is a Japanese 4-piece rock band from Machida City, Tokyo. They released their first nationally distributed CD, Injection e.p. in August 2024 and their second, Astro Buddha in July 2025.
