About Li Tingsong
Li Tingsong (李庭松, Lĭ Tíngsōng) was a Chinese Pipa-Player who lived from 1906 till 1976. He studied under Wang Yuting (1872-1951) and he made efforts to combine Chinese musical elements with Western ones. Besides that he also worked academically, focusing on theoretical aspects of Pipa-playing.
