About Ladies and Gentlemen

Intricate melodies, deep grooves and precise musicianship combines with oozing textures, invented instruments and eerie production in Eugene's Ladies and Gentlemen. The band strives to bridge the gap between jazz and classical music, incorporating rock and dance feels to create melancholy, funky tunes, branded with the open sound of Oregon's rural towns. Ladies and Gentlemen have recently completed a professionally recorded EP and are currently seeking and playing gigs to support the self-titled release, available in high quality for free download here: http://www.mediafire.com/?j1nfjozyzof There appears to be more than one act performing under the name 'Ladies and Gentlemen'. Another act is the Chicago based new wave power pop band. If you're listening to the indie release "Small Sins" by the Ladies and Gentlemen, then you are probably looking for the band Small Sins, headed by Thomas D'Arcy. The band changed their name shortly after the release of that album. This Toronto band now goes by the moniker "Small Sins" to avoid confusion with the Chicago based new wave power pop band.
