About Jumbo Jet
There are three bands under the same name. 1) Jumbo Jet is the Jean-Michel Leclercq's project (Belgium). In 1981, David Bowie with his ‘ashes to ashes’ made Jean-Michel attracted to strange worlds. At 18, his first guitar pushed him into lo-fi writing… ‘Practical reason’ as he says. In 1999, a trip to South America opened him to the world. Shortly after that, the post-rock band Some Tweetlove came to life. Then, a first device bought and Jumbo Jet took the sky. At the end of 2004, another trip in Laos: this time the idea was to capture sounds and mix all with acoustic and electronic stuffs in an album. The unique result is called elle m’a dit d’aller siffler lao sur la colline. Released by Carte Postale Records. 2) Jumbo Jet is also a cosmic post-rock band from Saint Petersburg, Russia. 3) Jumbo jet is finally a german female fronted post-hardcore band www.jumbojetlag.com.
