Beats. That’s what it’s always been about for Joshua G. With a love for music instilled in him as a small boy by his brothers and sisters Joshua was fanatical about it, especially the hard stuff. He grew up going to punk shows in San Jose, San Francisco and Berkeley, CA. Joshua really loved the punk scene but became disillusioned and left after sensing a lack of community. Then came the rave. After going to parties from 1998 to 1999 he decided to pick up the decks in 2000, the natural progression of the music loving party kid as he saw it. After traveling the world for the better part of six years Joshua came home to the SF bay area and started playing out in 2007. Now he’s championing the sound they call HardStyle, and coming out of SF swinging. It’s only been 24 months but this kid is out for blood and 2009 shows him no limitations.
