There are apparently three entries for Johnny Cage. According to the similar artists, the more popular one would appear to be the Valencia, CA hardcore act Johnny Cage. However, Johnny Cage is also the name of a remix DJ, whom can be read about below. There is also a third Johnny Cage. It's a band from the Netherlands lead by Johan Kooi (drummer of Bonne Aparte). With members of Bonne Aparte, In Limbo and Pluto. They make dreamy indie-rock. John C. Lewis III, a/k/a DJ 'Johnny CaGe' writes and remixes Electronic Breaks Music, as well as an occasional experimental Hip-Hop song or two. His broad musical diversity and influence is best exhibited on his latest album, entitled "Imagine That..."; An extremely limited edition full length CD, of which only about 400 original copies were ever made... each one having been manually burned on CD, packaged, and hand-signed by himself. His work these days consists mostly of mastering and/or engineering projects for others, especially those who produce music in his hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana. Cage enjoys watching his peers succeed in their musical endeavours, and is always willing to lend a little time or advice to his friends, should they ever need it from him. Johnny currently does a live internet simulcast every Friday night, on UnitedBreaks.fm, from 12AM-2AM CST (1AM-3AM EST). You can often find him idle in IRC on irc.us.gamesurge.net channel #ubfm2scr.
