Rick Davenport, also known as Jazzric is an Independent Singer, BMI-Songwriter and Musician with an Oldskool touch. He is diligent and driven in his focus towards composing every aspect of the music between raising a family and working the daily grind. Spiritually inclined, he's also man with a whole heart for the Most High. Jazzric is edgy and has the stunning ability to blend oldskool with the new. His soulful, melodic vocals lend to positive lyrics and jazzy/r&b flavors with hiphop beats and electronic sounds. His instrumental forte in guitar is riveting, mesmerizing and always fresh. He's multi-talented covering the full spectrum within the industry, which makes him a well-rounded musician. Jazzric grew up surrounded by music in the 70's where neighborhood bands ruled. As a key player in the popular Motivation band, he played rhythm and lead guitarist and performed for several years in various clubs and venues. By the 90’s Jazzric was focusing his attention on learning the recording and business side of music. Such experiences led to him becoming an independent singer/songwriter and turning his focus to a new music production: his Resurrection Outreach Ministry. Performing at the annual Fairgrounds became one of his primary focuses, which led to him becoming a well recognized and sought after performing soloist and music producer at local churches, hospitals and parks. His presence as Jazzric came into existence once his attention turned to the online circuit of the music industry. It is there his presence remains well known and on the rise as an experienced musician that’s earned great underground respect from a vast variety of musicians. Being a member of some several online venues, such as Acid Planet, Sonic Bids, Broadjam and Soul Commune. He enjoys participating in discussions of just about all things music and offering his knowledge, experiences and tips with others. More recently Jazzric started an indie label entitled Rick N’em Records. He wants take on new dreams of writing, recording and producing music; by making dreams come true for others. His work ethic reflects that. As an independent musician and seasoned songwriter, he’s offering an extensive catalog of music to suit various needs.
