About Jacob's Petting Zoo
Jacob's Petting Zoo was an influential band in the early 2000 Towson, MD pop-punk scene. The Band consisted of Michael Anderson (guitar), Terry Breschi (drums), Trevor Hennings (guitar & vocals), and Patrick Smith (guitar & vocals). The band was known for huge gatherings at local venues around Baltimore; Ten Car Pile Up, The Recher Theater, and Campus Cabana Swim Club (see picture) were notable performances. Other well known acts in the Towson pop-punk scene included, Fat Austin (recently Adelphi), The Moops, & Krank. Jacob's Petting Zoo released it's EP 'Reality Check' in 2001. Local critics hailed it a "smashing success." JPZ disbanded after its members were thrown into financial crisis.
