About Jack Langevelt & Survival
There are two Artists with the name Survival. 1. Dutch Progressive Rock Group Survival (formed 1981). 2. The other Survival is a British Drum and Bass artist. SURVIVAL is the Progressive / Symphonic Rock project of Dutch keyboard-player and composer Jack Langevelt (05-08-1954). A huge fan of the Seventies Symphonic Rock (a.o. Trace, ELP, Ekseption, The Nice) and admirer of the deceased Dutch keyboard virtuoso Rick Van Der Linden. Survival existed as a band between 1981 and 1997, altough Jack continued making music under the name Survival. In 2008 Survival arose from its ashes and released their first official album Crusader on Musea Records. This Album was composed, recorded and produced by Jack Langevelt. Presently (2013) Survival is back again in a new line up, with a new Manager (Inez van der Linden) and a new Bookings Agency. Currently, they are working on a Video and a new CD.
