About Jaci and Those Guys

Jaci and Those Guys are creating what is the new rock music. Some call it pop/metal, but really it is a mix of metal/screamo with the incredible vocals of female front girl Jaci Butler replacing the screams with a huge, clean, clear voice and a range unimaginable for a performer of any age yet she is just 14! Joining her is the talented Matt Venhaus on lead guitar who can shred with the best of them and dream up guitar riffs all day long. Chad Ragsdale doubles up the sound on rhythm guitar, Jason Savage brings the warlock to stage with his wicked bass and the "not so quiet" Trevor Quiett strikes fear into the heart of drum sets everywhere. Together they have an explosion of chemistry right before your eyes. In the short one year and nine months they have been together they have compiled and incredible list of accomplishments including, performing close to 100 shows together, winning House of Blues Texas Highschool Rockoff, Supernova Battle of the Bands at the Curtain Club, Real Texas Festival, Richardson Wildflower Festival, Battle for America at Poor David's Pub, 1st place in Indie pop music on Ourstage.com, 2nd place in 7-Eleven Slurpee national Battle of the Bands, Top ten finalist in SchoolJam USA put on by NAMM and performing at the NAMM show in Anaheim CA, and most recently, they won the Berklee College of Music International Battle of the Bands giving them a 25,000.00 Scholarship to Berklee's famous Five Week program which they spent the summer of 2010 in Boston learning to be better musicians. In the fall of 2009, Jaci and Those Guys began their biggest undertaking to date, their debut cd, "Storm of Dreams". After Jaci losing her voice 3 times during recording and 9 months of hard work, the cd is officially being released in September 2010 and it is incredible for a first release. Completely written, composed, and recorded by the band members. It will be available on all the major digital download sites, online, and at all concerts they perform. Jaci has a unique sound to her voice that is like none other and a range from top to bottom. Matt provides guitar solos to die for in most all of the songs with "Torn" being unbelievable while Trevor thrashes the metal double pedal. Jason and Chad hold down a tight bass and rhythm line giving this album huge qualities no one would believe came from a 14 to 17 year old band!
