Intiø Sound started 2019 as an electronic solo project of Finnish DIY studio-enthusiastic / producer / musician Jussi Juntunen. First published song Junat ("Trains") combines bits of sampled pianos with afro-beat-like beats and features a good friend Linda Pyykkönen on vocals. Intiø Sound's first EP Valosaastesade (光害雨, "light pollution rain") was released on January 24th 2020. Valosaastesade EP includes five songs of lofi/downtempo electronic music produced and composed mostly around c-cassette loops. The EP is also featuring Linda Pyykkönen on vocals. “I’ve been playing in a rock band for almost 20 years and I thought now could be a good moment to go through my field recordings, hard drives and memos to put together something completely different.”
