About Igor Koshkendey
Igor Koshkendey is one of the best throat singers from Tuva. Besides performing solo, he is a member of the throat singing group Chirgilchin. Koshkendey sings six styles of throat singing including the unique Oidupaa style, which used by only two singers - Oidupaa Vladimir Oiun and Koshkendey. Igor is the winner of Grand Prix of International Competition of Throat Singing in 1998 and Winner of Grand Prix of International Competition in Llangollen (Wales) in 2000, as well as winner of International Competition in Kyzyl (Tuva) in June 2002.
