About Hypsiphrone
Hypsiphrone is a one-man project of Algol Shelh from Greece. First album "And The Void Shall Pierce Their Eyes" released November 1st 2011, on Black Plagve, a Malignant Records subdivision. Over an hour of percussive doom, shuddering machinery dirge, ghoulish and nightmarish ambience, torturous screams and cinematic depravity, resulting in a tangled and abstract tapestry of something completely epic and nearly majestic in its scale. A mass of innately evil and impure sounds, denoting the concept of the female archetype in its darkest, most frightening aspect.
