Huuto

About Huuto

Huuto was a Finnish alternative-rock band consisting of permanent members Hilari Lumijärvi (vocals, guitar), Tatu Heinonen(guitar), Antti Ylä-Rotiala(bass) and Jussi Heinonen(drums). This foursome recorded the now legendary debut EP "In Boston", which yielded the hit "Myrkkyä", in the year 2000. A year later, Antti Loponen from Jermaine and Exhausted was substituting Ylä-Rotiala on bass on the split EP "Seuraava Sukupuoli". For the group's last EP "Pienet ikkunat vankiloita", which came out in 2005, Lumijärvi gave up guitarist duties for a new member, Juha Pippola. The group set themselves on hiatus in late 2005. Half of the band plays now in the post-rock group Locomotora.
