About Hearts & Souls
Formed in late 2010 Hearts & Souls are a female fronted 4 piece from Leeds, UK creating big noises and massive choruses. With influences varying from Joy Division to Jimmy Eat World, The Dangerous Summer and Sigur Rós, Hearts & Souls bring something fresh to the UK music scene. Between them the band have played with artists such as Army Of Freshmen (US), Twin Atlantic, Straight Lines, A Loss For Words (US), Glamour Of The Kill, My Passion, Yashin and many more. Following the bands debut single released “There’s Something About Francis” on the 14th March 2011 the band have been had features on Alter The Press and Leeds Music Scene. Fresh out the studio the band are set to hit the road for the rest of the year and tour as much as possible. “It may be early days for the four-piece, but the bands new refreshed approach for their craft is welcomed. “There’s something about Francis” on it’s own gives the band plenty of promise.” – Alter The Press “Considering this is the debut single from the Leeds' 4 piece, it seems surprisingly easy for them to write a song that pleases” – Leeds Music Scene
