About Gutted Stereos
Gutted Stereos is the solo-project of Cristian Hurtado, a highschool student at Whitney Young Magnet Highschool. Cristian was born in Chicago, IL, and was raised listening to industrial and new wave music due to his mothers club-oriented background and DJ friends. Gutted Stereos is influenced by electronic groups such as The Faint, Crystal Castles, Sabrepulse, and Afghan Raiders, and also metal bands such as Hanni Kohl, HORSE the Band, Enter Shikari, and Sky Eats Airplane.
