About Guillamino
"Guillamino is really someone to watch now. He has everything; soul, beats, voice, ideas..." Gilles Peterson Guillamino is one of the most surprising acts in Barcelona musical scene. This young man represents the human side of electronica, mixing dub, hip hop, minimal and house in a very peculiar way. He also plays with Catalan traditional sounds (sardana) and sings in a soulful way. Now he releases his third solo album, Les minves de gener, mixed by Dive Dibosso (7 notas 7 colores). Guillamino's music has travelled all around the world because of Third Ear's international compilation Atzavara. Some time before, star DJs John Peel and Gilles Peterson spread the word playing his music in BBC-Radio 1. Guillamino has played in countries such as Japan, Chile, France, Germany and Italy, and of course in Barcelona main festivals Primavera Sound and Sónar.
