About Grasping at Straws
Two kids with guitars and an assortment of other instruments lying around their homes. Grasping at Straws is a two piece acoustic act from the sunny (detect the hint of sarcasm) south of England. The band comprises of Daniel Tovey (lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, tambourine) and Ben Tubbs (lead guitar and backing vocals). They decided to collaborate first in late May 2008. Currently all of their recordings are done on home computers. They are based very locally and gig around the Bournemouth area when they can. They are 2 young teenagers with hearts filled with songs and heads filled with dreams.
