Grantchester is a progressive rock band-ish that is influenced by many prog and classic rock bands like King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Genesis, and The Alan Parsons Project. The band is named after the server Grantchester Meadows, which is named after Grantchester Meadows. One of the members of Grantchester, Sgt Floofy, was born on June 16th 2004 near Chicago. The band went through many line-ups. However, Sgt Floofy decided to just use the name for their debut, House of Cards, while keeping it as essentially a solo album.
