Got No Shame was originally formed in Tel Aviv in 2005, right from the start their intense live act, guitar riffs and captivating restless front-man had earned them a loyal crowd and a respected place on Israel’s biggest music festivals (Tel Aviv beer city festival, Moto music festival and many more). The band’s musical influences are rooted on rock n roll and glam rock such as Guns N' Roses and Mötley Crüe mixed with new school cutting edge punk rock ranging from Foo Fighters to Descendants. For the past 4 years, GNS has been playing live all over Israel, sharing stage with rock, punk, hardcore and the alternative scene. Gaining both the underground and the mainstream attention they were selected to be the opening act for Canadian pop punk band Simple Plan in December 2008. In 2006, GNS had released their debut E.P titled “Hurry Up I’m Losing Wood”, recorded and musically produced by the band, and distributed all over Israel and digitally all over the world. In May 2009, GNS have finished recording their first full-length album. Mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Chris Isaak) and masterd by Dave Collins (Black Sabbath, Alkaline Trio), their debut album, "Hometown Underground" was released on October 23, 2009, in a special release show with Trademark and This Means You and special guests Yotam Ben Horin of Useless ID and Eyal Reiner of Kill The Drive. In April 2010, the band embarked on their very first U.S. tour in support of "Hometown Underground", playing mainly dates in the west coast.
