About God's Azolla
God's Azolla is the solo project set up by Lewis, lenis23 of Toluene and formerly Biz Baz Boz. He produces semi-experimental ambient styled electronic perambulation, relentless mind spinning ambient technopop and/or distorted noise via a variety of vintage and modern instruments. Recently produced is a 3 track (Maple Drive EP), highlighting some upcoming tracks for the future album release "Life Through multicoloured Boxes" due to be completed within 2014. The first album, produced 2011 is Di Inferi (Di Inferi). A collection of Musical Idea's and personal experamentalism. Some with lyrics, some without.. but all trying to evoke certain moods. This is continual work in progress and as such will be updated with new songs or new takes on previously recorded songs periodically to try and avoid the stifling rigidity of an album format. So far a few songs have been used on youtube video's for UKMantisForums and at Mamsy's Restaurant, Leeds. Fern and Function the free two track early learning centre starting single, lands with an unction, turns at the junction and ends in expunction. Or possibly just none of the above. Recorded live and loud at "reassuringly" low quality. Recommended for listening by this guy... Electro-Phil ... yes him!... now do you need more encouragement than that? The first single Fern Britain was inspired by the improvised work of Biz Baz Boz and was recorded early 2009, and was originally not intended for public release. Certian influences are cited as John Foxx, Hirasawa Susumu, Anechoic Chamber, The Orb, Orbital, Future sound of London, "Space" by Jimmy Cauty,Ozric tentacles,CBL, KLF, Underworld, Eno, Plaid, Reich, Biz Baz Boz and others, though possibly becoming increasingly irrelevant.
