About GOODSWAN

Goodswan is the musical child of Sergey Popovich and Ray Mancini, two diverse individuals from completely different backgrounds. Together, they decided to pursue one vision – a vision that combines both of their pasts to create a new musical future. Goodswan bends and combines genres, twisting them into relatable, yet unclassifiable, songs. Mancini brings strong vocal dynamics and a pop-sensibility. Popovich brings his experimental tendencies and inspired instrumental work The result is music that is artistic, avant-garde, and even sonically challenging…but with a strong foundation of melody, an ear for the mainstream, and most important, ACCESSIBILITY. This is Goodswan, a combination of two unique musical visions in a city that celebrates diversity AND unity at the same time. Goodswan recently finished its first full-length release “Dancing Tanks”, and has started to play the NYC Club circuit. They are available for booking now. ABOUT THE MEMBERS: Sergey Popovich is a Ukrainian guitarist and musician who found a willing muse in the raw energy and distorted thinking that washed over the psyche of his homeland. Popovich let these feelings seep deep into his soul, where it fused with a musical passion and took the form. of countless instrumental, avant-garde rock pieces. He eventually brought this dangerous yet intoxicating musical mix to the shores of America. Brooklyn, New York, to be exact. Ray Mancini is an American currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. Mancini was a vocalist and musician, as well as a visual designer and artist. He too was infused with the same desire to create and manipulate music, and looking for a new project. After realizing the position fate had dropped them into, they decided to pursue one vision – a vision that combined both of their pasts into the goal of achieving a new musical future. As a live unit, Goodswanis joined by bassist Andry Melnyk. Melnyk, an established musician in his own right, adds a dynamic energy and personality to their live shows.
