There are 2 bands, who share this name. 1. Fluctuations, a name that on the one hand stands for the many changes in daily life and its inconstancy, but on the other hand for melodic, ambitious Metalcore. At the end of August 2011, developed from the band "As Sorrow Fades", the young band from Nuremberg, Germany, is ready to break down the walls of the venues with new material and huge motivation. Fluctuations is an ambient/drone artist from the north west of England, taking influences from Tim Hecker, and the more avant-garde side of David Kristian's work, he has been creating atmospheric soundscapes since late 2005. Utilizing electric guitar, cheap old keyboards and running them through a multitude of effects pedals, Fluctuations hopes to achieve musical portrayals of important life experiences. The album Coping Methods is a journey through various negative emotional and waking states such as insomnia, isolation, paranoia, that plague ones existence from time to time, but in the end holds a veneration for life despite its hardships.
