Filip Vrtaric aka Filip is an upcoming Croatian jungle/dnb DJ and Producer from a small, middle-age town called Motovun, in the center of Istra, Croatia. Although he lives in a small town (or almost a village), he has a nice balance between civilisation and as he likes to call it "jungle" since he studies and lives in Croatia's principal seaport city of Rijeka during the week. Filip co-founded the hip-hop/jungle crew called PCP with Boost where he MCs and makes beatz. After 5 years immersed in hip-hop music, he started DJing jungle at his own DRAMA parties which, 2 years later, is now a top-notch jungle night in Istria. As a young rudebwoy, he has shared stages with many top DJ's such as Tricky D, RCola, Rahmanee and many artists around the Balkans. RCola and Tricky D saw him and PCP at the Seasplash reggae festival in Pula, Croatia during the summer of 2008. Kingston Sound (Zagreb) introduced them and things started rolling! RCola invited PCP & Danny Boy onstage during his set at Seasplash to perform their big tune "Come with us" and signed them and DJ Rahmanee (Belgrade), to produce a 12" vinyl for JungleXpeditions.
