About Fata 'el moustache' Morgana

Fata ‘el Moustache’ Morgana plays an explosive mix of disco, punk, electro, rock and funk, carrying an important role for a cheap organ, brand ‘Orla’. Onstage the band delivers infamously energetic live shows, in invariably steaming halls. After two EP’s in 2008 and 2010, they released their first album in 2011. Their second album - louder, rougher, tighter and more danceable - follows in september 2014. Fata ‘el Moustache’ Morgana was founded in 2004 without a clear plan, idea or direction. Its five members are playing together ever since. In its hometown Amsterdam the band holds a strong live reputation and loyal fan base. They doesn’t care for genres, concepts, expectations and splitting hairs. Fata ‘el Moustache’ Morgana returns rock ‘n roll to where it belong: in dark, clammy halls, dancing till the drops fall of the ceiling. Material damage and physical injury are not shunned, but Fata ‘el Moustache’ Morgana doesn’t quibble; they wouldn’t know how.
