Falling Silent

About Falling Silent

Falling Silent was a moderately successful "local" metal-core band from the mid 2000's featuring front man Andrew Katz (vocals) and his brother Jacob Katz (lead guitar). The band also included various other members over their several years of activity but ultimately included Aaron Silbering (rhythm guitar), Jonathan Menager (drums), and Ryne Fiebig (bass). Falling Silent played local shows outside the Los Angeles area until the end of 2006, when brothers Andrew and Jacob decided to pursue different musical endeavors, placing the band in hiatus status until all members ultimately made the decision to continue on different paths. Falling Silent formed in Westlake Village, Calif. in the early 2000's. The original band was called Taunt (TaUnT) and comprised of the original three members Andrew Katz (Rusk), Jacob Katz (Rusk), and Jonathan Menager. The band began practicing mid summer and was playing shows by early fall.
