About Fake the Face
Fake The Face is a music project that began in October of 2009 from an idea of Daniele Ciabocco and Daniele Antonini. Michele Gobbi and Leonardo Lambertucci were hired, respectively, in the roles of singer and bass player from the beginning. In the meanwhile the role of drummer has got many changes. The band started making a lot of material searching for new sounds through progressive, djent, nu metal and alternative modern metal influences, trying to transmit in our music: friendship, dedication and passion. The group, due to the technical complexity of the arrangements and the use of synth, began to think about the add of a third guitar to give more dimensionality to our sound, finding in Alessandro Poloni, already active in the life of the band as a friend and brother, the most adequate candidate. Recently Matteo Cavallaro joined the band permanently as drummer completing the current line-up.
