About Envy's Bane

Envy's Bane is an American independent electronic music artist, composer, producer, poet, novelist and screenwriter. Her songs have been featured in the independent series The Chainsaw Sally Show, Season One and two documentaries - The Autie Project and The 77:7 Project. As an Electronic artist, Envy's music spans various genres including Industrial, Latin House, World, Gabber/Hardcore, Techno and Drum 'N Bass. Best known for her work as Lady Venom (formed in 2006), she later added three side-projects (Beautifully Dead, Versucht zu Töten, Aggereth bat Mahathallah - collectively known as Mortis de Serpentis Productions). The project ended in 2011. In 2012, she returned to the Electronic music scene as Envy's Bane, concentrating on Industrial, Techno, Film Music and Dark Ambient. As a writer, Envy's Bane has published four poetry books under the name Ofira Sephiroth. Writing dark, gothic poetry, she began writing professionally in 2006. Envy's Bane also writes novels, flash fiction, short stories and screenplays. Born and raised in Washington, Pennsylvania, Envy resides in Louisville, Kentucky. She is currently working on her debut album, Enmity's Eye, as well as three scripts.
