About Elektroshock
Late 70's / Early 80's punk rock band from Spinaceto (Rome - Italy) They start to make rock in 1978 and they are considered one of the first italian punk rock bands. In 1979 they arrive to release an Lp with the indipendet label Numero Uno (an associated label of the RCA italia). 'Asylum', this is the name of the record, is a very good album with one of the first italian punk hits: 'Publici Mores' (very used in many recent italian punk wave compilations). Asylum doesn't express only a punk style but one of the first alternative rock applications in Italy (like in the fantastic song 'Blood Sacrifice'). Unfortunately, after this good work no more traces of the band. The line-up: Giorgio Mastrosanti guitar and mellotron; Marco Bernard bass; Nicola "Faina" Lo Briglio drums and percussion; Riccardo La Riccia lead guitar and vocals; Augusto Colaiori - lead vocals.
