About Easy & Center of the Universe
Easy & Center of the Universe are two funky souls from Oslo’s underground. They are mixing the irresistibly funky sound of Skweee with rich Eastern melodies that one would usually hear in styles like Turkish Anatolian pop, Egyptian oud music or dance latest dance sounds pounding from a Persian bazaar. Easy is a Norwegian skweee ambassedeur enriching the genre since 2007. Easy’s friend and multitalented musician Center of the Universe got into the Skweee sounds while making “Legend of Selda” for Ramp Recodings’ Skweee Tooth -compilation in 2009. They made jingles for a sweedish television program about arabian culture worldwide called “Rena Rama Arabiskan” in 2011 and will release a full length album in 2012.
