About Driving Music

Driving Music is an indie-folk collective from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Singer-songwriter Fábio Andrade first used the name Driving Music in 2007, shortly after disbanding his former punk rock band, The Invisibles. After a couple one-man home demos, Driving Music released their debut ep in March 2010. It features five original song and a cover of The National's "Apartment Story", and was recorded, mixed and mastered by Fábio Andrade at home, featuring contributions of fellow musicians Raphael Erichsen and Daniel Develly. Since then, Driving Music have released a couple singles featuring unreleased b-sides and early demos of the songs that comprise their first ep. The recordings keep the original homely approach while also relying on other musicians and artists for special appearances and collaborations. Every song the band has ever released can be downloaded for free at www.driving-music.net
