DinUmbrã was born at the end of 1998 in Bucharest , Romania . The band aimed from the start to combine industrial-metal with psychedelic music and other influences in order to create a new sound in the romanian rock . In time , the band's compositions obtained a strong gothic-doom sound , and in the present it combines many styles , predominant being gothic , doom , death and psychedelic . The lyrics are philosophically themed and speak about inner feelings , myths or unattainable ideals , being strongly predominated by a deep pessimism .
