About Digiki
Digiki (aka Antonin Gaultier) is a Paris-born, Tokyo-based musician. His music has been called a blend of pop and experimentalism, crossing the line between dance music and sound collage. His unique 'anti-DJ' style and his monthly music podcast Polypunk have been celebrated since 2005. His latest work is Beat Vacation / Dense Music. After countless remixes and collaborations in and out of Paris, Digiki moved to Tokyo in 2005 to continue his mission: to connect the unconnectable, hip hop with ambient music, club music with experimentalism, clever with fun. The result? Beat Vacation, A catchy yet intelligent album, something you can dance to and play at home. With his latest work, Dense Music, set for a June 2008 release, Digiki continues to question the definition of dance/dense music with invited collaborators Donovan, Dexpistols, Audioporno, Jean Nipon, O.Lamm, Carl Stone, Mondkopf, Toshiyuki Yasuda, e*rock, Germlin, and Duck Rock.
