About Diabolic Danceclub
The "Diabolic Danceclub" was brought to life through Urs who is the singer & guitarist of the band. Urs has strummed the bass for the last two decades in numerous bands & still does so for the Death Metal Band "Veroxity". He casually entertained his houseflies by playing the guitar & when they suddenly started to rock about instead of flying straight he decided to take some action... He called in Batzen (who strums the bass in the Death Metal Combo "Cause of Death") to treat his bass to some rocking beats for a change. No sooner said than done & when they met up they got on like a house on fire... After some experimentation they found drummer Simon (who is in charge of the beat for the Grungeband "INYOU") in November 2006 & the "Trio Infernal" was complete! One fine day Urs was asked in the Bunker (cult rehearsal room in their home town!) what kind of music they're making - And his short and sweet answer was: "Dunno...., sounds like Bluespunk..." A few beers in and he liked his answer so much that he went on to write the song "Bluespunk". As time went by Urs agreed with the people who say that their music doesnt exactly fit into the combination of blues & punk - Cause it is actually "Beerdrinkin' Bluespunk"... Nervertheless, the guys have got no problem whatsoever when they've been put in the wide open category of "Rock'n'Roll" as they proved most recently when they significantly titled their Demo CD "Thanx To The Godfathers Of Rock'n'Roll" (recorded in April 2007). It was recorded with "Soundsetter Recordings" in the "Kultbunker" which is a cult studio in their hometown Herten, NRW, Germany. You will be blown away by four tracks which were all recorded live and could easily rock every Bikerparty and you should definitely take their CD with you when you're hitting the road. However if you want to get the full blast & want to understand where they're coming from in terms of their musical spirits - You simply should experience the guys live! The Diabolic 3 are capable of turning a mortuary into a party hall within seconds and they'll burn many of them so-called Metal- or Hardcore-Combos to the ground...
