About Dead Dream Factory

Dead Dream Factory had been formed in February of 1984. They were originally one quartet formed by Cristina “Psico” in the voice, Jose Peter Ataíde in on guitar, Peter Alexandre Cardoso “Camaleão” bass and Frog drums. They made their first appearance in April in a concert in Pious house Athletical Club and concurs in May for 1º Competition of Modern music of Rock Rendez-Vous. They go to the end, being in third place behind the Culto da Ira e of Mler Given Ife. The song “Candy house”, recorded in 6 of May of 1984, it appears in the compilation “Ao Vivo No Rock Rendez-Vous em 1984 ". Still in the same year they touch two nights consecutive in the RRV and they give, On the 30th of December, a concert at Cruz Vermelha (Porto) with Urb and Ban and, in the day 31, another at Fábrica (Braga). In 1985 they they played a few more concerts, they make new subjects and, by the end of the year, Jose Peter Ataíde it is substituted by the Nick Gouveia (son of the Fialho Gouveia, famous tv host in Portuguese TV), that together with the Psico and the Camaleão decide to try the luck in the lands of Her Majesty.
