About Dante Esperanza

Dante Esperanza means lasting hope. It came from a dream the singer had of a man on a quest. The band began in January of 2005 in Bakersfield, CA... after a strange incident in the desert involving indian spirits, coyotes, and the sacrificial burning of a guitar and tambourine. These occurances inspired an entire album "Live from the Indian Burial Grounds", a record that captures the sound and feeling of the desert, oil rig towns, and the mysticism of the native peoples. They are currently living in Portland, Oregon. Vocals/guitar: Duncan McKnight Guitar/banjo: Brandon Williams Organ/Keys: Brandon Young
