About D-Block Europe

D-Block Europe, often abbreviated to DBE, are a British rap duo from Lewisham in South London. The group consists of Adam Nathaniel Williams, known as Young Adz, and Ricky Earl Banton, known as Dirtbike LB. The name D-Block Europe originated after Young Adz was co signed by New York rapper Jadakiss, who supported the creation of a European branch connected to his D-Block Records brand. The duo began releasing music independently in the mid 2010s and became widely known in the UK scene through a steady run of singles and mixtapes. D-Block Europe’s music has frequently been described as trap influenced, with Auto Tune heavy vocals and production that draws from both UK rap and American rap styles. Their output is characterised by a high volume of releases, with multiple projects arriving in close succession. Career 2014 to 2018 Early releases and Any Minute Now After forming in 2014, D-Block Europe built momentum through singles and collaborations. In July 2018, they released Any Minute Now, a collaborative mixtape with Yxng Bane, which became one of their early breakthrough projects and helped establish their presence on the UK charts. 2019 Prolific mixtape run In 2019, D-Block Europe released several major mixtapes, including Home Alone, PTSD, and Street Trauma. The projects continued their rapid release schedule and pushed the duo further into the UK mainstream, with multiple projects reaching the UK Albums Chart. 2020 to 2021 The Blue Print and Home Alone 2 In October 2020, the duo released their debut studio album The Blue Print Us vs Them. The album reached number two on the UK Albums Chart. In 2021, they released Home Alone 2, continuing a pattern of long tracklist projects and frequent collaborations. 2022 to 2024 Lap 5 and Rolling Stone In September 2022, D-Block Europe released their second studio album Lap 5, which also reached number two on the UK Albums Chart. In January 2024, they released Rolling Stone, their third studio album, which became their first UK number one album. 2025 to present In November 2025, D-Block Europe released PTSD 2, a follow up to their 2019 mixtape PTSD. The project charted in the UK and was supported by further touring and releases through their official channels.
