Joe Hensley, also known by his stage name Joe Magnifico, is Check Minus. Joe, is an American artist and producer. He has been a long time drummer in multiple Boise, Idaho bands such as The Suffocation Keep (with Brett Nelson of Built to Spill), eL Dopamine, Exit Fifty-One, Flackjacket, and Eightball Break. Check Minus has been a side project since the early 90's when Joe started recording to 4-track. The music of Check Minus is generally instrumental, however some tracks have featured vocals from Gen H aka Hunny Bunny. The music ranges from trip-hop to Americana. Two decades later, 3 official Check Minus albums have been released and is set to release 2 in 2010, one under Check Minus, and a rumoured 'rock' album under the name of Pinchcliffe. www.CheckMinusMusic.com www.myspace.com/ckminus
