About Charles Buterne

Charles Buterne (born about 1710 and died about 1760) was a French composer of the Baroque era. His father was Jean-Baptiste Buterne, a French organist. During his lifetime, Charles Buterne was squire, organist and harpsichord teacher of the Duchess of Burgundy. He left a few compositions and a method of learning music.
