Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray is a Filipino-Australian model, singer, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2018. She is the fourth Filipina to win the Miss Universe competition. Previously, Gray was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 and Miss World Philippines 2016. She received a graduate certificate in music theory from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Furthermore, Gray was lead singer of her school's jazz band; she also starred in local productions of Miss Saigon. In 2018, she released her single "We're In This Together", a song she recorded for the advocacy she's supporting, Young Focus International, an organization dedicated to helping children and poor communities, most notably in Tondo, Manila. In 2021, she released "R.Y.F,” her own version of the rousing hymn “Raise Your Flag”, inspired by the beauty queen’s memorable statements from her Miss Universe journey.
