About Butter Party
Butter Party (aka Michael Davies) is a Melbourne-based tech-funk DJ/producer and co-owner of the digital label Trickery Collective. His talent was quickly spotted in early 2008 by tech-funk don Elite Force, who was so smitten with the maturity of sound and the adroitness of the youngster’s production work that he instantly snapped up tracks "Wriggle" and "Fidget" for U&A Recordings. The release went on to receive 5 stars in IDJ Magazine, and gained massive support from DJs including James Zabiela, Meat Katie, The Crystal Method, Miles Dyson, and many more.
