Brakewood were a Dutch alternative rock band from Oss, the Netherlands.The band formed on august 8, 2008. They have only recorded some cover songs and raw versions of own material while searching for the right line-up. Because of this they changed their bandname into Checkpoint Echo after finding a definitive formation on december 8th, 2009.
