About Brain Pilot
After the release of their first 12" in 1991, brothers Stefan and Dimitri Van Elsen have continued to release material with numerous labels. Each of the distinct styles of music which they create is released under names including Trans-4m, Brain Pilot, and Sounds Unlimited. Their diverse interests combine to fuel the creation of a wide range of sounds and moods. Brain Pilot are forging new sounds in 'listening techno'. In all its manifestations, the music of Stefan and Dimitri evolves to explore different rhythms and time signatures. BP's Belgian label Nova Zembla was formed in '94. As the label got a good and respected name in the techno-scene more bands were signed and a diversity of styles and genres was generated. The music went from hard trance, industrial hard techno, sci-fi ambient, hard chill trance and industrial hard techno with some ambient influences.
